We all know that selling a property can often be a stressful and complicated process, and if this needs to be done because the occupant has to enter a care home, it’s not surprising that feelings and emotions can run high at this time.

To try and relieve some of this additional pressure, we are pleased to work alongside and recommend Bridgefast, a national company offering a complete property sales management service that can help families sell a property more effectively and timely.

Bridgefast will take on the stress of selling a property, managing the whole process from the initial marketing through to securing the best possible sale price, they will deal with Surveyors, Estate Agents, Solicitors, and prospective purchasers on behalf of the vendor, as well as arranging any other mandatory requirements such as the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

Each vendor and/or their representative is appointed a dedicated Personal Adviser, rather than a call centre operator, who will manage the sale and keep vendors fully informed along every step of the way.

In addition, Bridgefast can also help out if the person in care needs access to funds ahead of the sale completion, for example, to purchase an immediate care plan.

They are also able to arrange for removals & house clearance and if the property becomes vacant before it is sold they can arrange for it (and the garden) to be maintained and insured.
