The emphasis of all Symponia member advisers is very much on respect and care, with the fundamental objective of enabling people to choose where they are cared for, with the peace of mind that they will be able to meet rising care costs indefinitely.
We are all extremely conscious that sorting out the care fees for a friend or relative can be difficult, emotive and stressful, and as a result we each aim to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible.
Each and every family approaches the funding of care fees differently, and as such, they all deserve personal and bespoke attention, our member advisers will always endeavour to supply details of all the options available for every circumstance, making sure that family objectives are being met.
Steps in the Process
At the first stages of a relationship members are usually unable to make any specific recommendations or provide you with any dedicated personal advice.
But after the first face-to-face meeting things can become much more tailored.
We strongly recommend that you arrange to meet with one of our member advisers; they will be able to guide you through the myriad of legislation, take you through how this will affect you and your family and present you with a comprehensive report detailing all of your options.
Even if your final choice is to do nothing, at least you will have explored all the possibilities, and will have made a true informed decision weighing up all the facts. We would much rather you explore all your options and dismiss them as unsuitable, than never know they existed in the first place.
