Simon Adkins

In 1995, after completing an economics degree at Bristol University Simon established his career in financial services. Having worked in several aspects he opted to focus in the provision of ‘Later Life Advice’ directly to clients and their families back in 2002.

He is particularly keen to provide advice to care home residents and their families on all issues relating to care fee funding. His decision to specialise in this area followed a personal experience, witnessing both the emotional and financial stress that his parents went through when his grandmother had to move into a care home.

As such Simon is an accredited member of The Society of Later Life Advisers, and prides himself on being both a professional and caring adviser to those who need help at what is often a highly emotional and confusing point in clients’ lives.

Outside work, Simon enjoys participating in numerous sports, with a passion for golf and outdoor life in general.
