The emphasis of all Symponia members is very much on respect and care, with the fundamental objective of enabling people to choose where they are cared for, with the peace of mind that they will be able to meet rising care costs indefinitely.
We are all extremely conscious that sorting out the care fees for a friend or relative can be difficult, emotive and stressful, and as a result we aim to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible.
Each and every family approaches the funding of care fees differently, and as such, they all deserve personal and bespoke attention, our members will always endeavour to supply details of all the options available for every circumstance.
Symponia membership is growing rapidly with representation from the following professions:
Making up our original membership each adviser is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). In addition they also hold the dedicated long term care qualification and we can confirm that we have met all of them personally.
Within this category are our Master Practitioners
This badge is awarded to advisers who have been with us for over two consecutive years and have shown that extra commitment and dedication by either joining the Society of Later Life Advisers or passing our own Academy Assessment. These rigorous processes require the adviser to have achieved enhanced skill sets as well as demonstrable inter-personal and softer skills.
Within the legal profession there are a growing number of solicitors specialising in the often complex legal work associated with care and later life.
You are of course free to select the member of your choice, regardless of their membership category or classification, for example, you may prefer a lady, or a member covering an area actually nearer to the person needing care or to your home or place of work, so to help you, we have included the type of member category in the profile pages.
