I have been providing financial advice since 1989 and for the past ten years I have been specialising in advice to elderly clients, including care fees, investment and inheritance tax advice. I work very closely with other professionals in legal and accountancy practices, providing independent advice to their clients.

I believe that personal service is the cornerstone of my advice and this is particularly important when advising in the sensitive and often-traumatic area of families arranging care for a loved one.

My role is to provide clear solutions and options to clients, detailing all the benefits and risks of each course of action so that they can make an informed decision. Part of this process, when looking at the provision of care fees, is to take families through the transition into care and to review the legal aspects of the options and ensuring that all benefits are being claimed.

I am committed to continuing my professional development through examinations and studying and I am qualified to Diploma level by the Chartered Insurance Institute and am working towards Chartered Financial Planner status, hopefully in 2007.
