As the youngest member of Symponia I am the baby of the group. I have been involved with the financial planning needs of older people since 1999. In order to promote professionalism, I took the advanced qualifications required for Care Fees Planning three years before the Regulatory body, the Financial Services Authority, stipulated that they were compulsory.
I am a Director of Wellserve, which is part of a firm of solicitors known as Wellers. Together, we have a strong understanding of the legal issues surrounding care and care fees planning. If necessary, we can involve highly experienced legal experts to compliment the services we offer.
Having assisted many people through what can be a very difficult time, we have developed a philosophy built on “if I were the client how would I be feeling now and how would I want to be treated”. This sets the standard for Wellserve.
I spend most of my spare time with my wife and three children. When time allows, I enjoy mountain climbing and rugby. Last year I raised over £1,600 for the Alzheimer's Society by doing the Three Peaks Challenge. In the future, I am hoping to do further challenges for the Alzheimer's Society, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa.
