I have worked in Financial Services for over thirty years mostly as a senior financial planner. I have run my own practice in Derbyshire for the last 5 years.

My very first clients were Brian & Jean, after our second meeting Jean took me to one side and told me Brian was in the early stages of dementia. I had not realised this, but I was honoured to continue working with them, together we set up a dedicated financial plan which continues to serve them well. Brian now needs full time care but Jean is financially secure.

I have since worked with many clients planning for long term care and know that it is vital to protect both the family’s standard of living and assets accumulated over a lifetime. The costs of care can be like a vicious tax wiping out these wishes, and I know that by careful planning ‘peace of mind’ for the whole family can be achieved.

I am a family man interested in sport, France and wine. I am actively involved in my community through the Rotary, The Alzheimer’s Society and have just finishing the organisation of our local poppy appeal for the British Legion.
