I started in financial services in 1968 and now run the family business jointly with my wife Veronica. My particular interest and passion is the financial planning requirements of elderly clients and their families.

Using my broad experience of financial planning, insurance and mortgage broking I work with clients and their families providing comprehensive financial planning reports. I advise on and arrange appropriate financial products from across the range including immediate cares fees plans and equity release schemes for which I hold specific adviser qualifications I work closely with other professionals in particular my client’s solicitors.

I am an active supporter of the Insurance Institute of York, Personal Finance Society and Leeds Branch of the Institute of Financial Planning. I believe it is only through high standards of competence, ethics and integrity that we can be seen as caring professionals providing objective advice and operating within the principles of best practice.

I have demonstrated my commitment to high standards by pursuing personal academic achievement. I am one of the few who is both a Certified and Chartered Financial Planner. In 2005 I was honoured to be awarded a Chartered Insurance Institute Exceptional Service Medal in recognition of my work for the profession.
