 John Williams is a member of Positive Solutions, a national firm of Independent Financial Advisers. John has over 30 years' experience working in the financial services profession, 16 of which as an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). John has offered care fees planning advice since 1996.

In recent years, John has become acutely aware of the dearth of comprehensive advice for the elderly. With this in mind, he decided to specialise in this area and, in joining Symponia, he regularly meets and exchanges ideas with other care fees planning professionals as well as keeping abreast of the social and legislative changes that impact on care fees planning. John regards his decision to join Symponia as one of the best he has made since becoming an IFA.

John is fully qualified to advice on other financial planning areas such as Investments, Pensions, Lifetime Mortgages (Equity Release) and Inheritance Tax.

John is a member of the Faculty of Retirement & Care.

Married with a daughter, John enjoys cycling, reading and music. Owing to business commitments, John has had to put on hold his role as a volunteer driver for 'Chariotts' a local charity providing transport in the community. He hopes to resume this in the near future.
