Mike has been a financial adviser for nearly two decades and an independent investment specialist for all but two years of them. Mike specialises in asset management and estate planning: in particular investing in retirement, investing in trust and investing to pay long term care fees, together with, or included as part of, Inheritance Tax reduction/mitigation.

CareFeesAdvisers is a division of Retirement Planning Associates Limited, which was established in its original form in 1992 by Mike Migan and Andrew Forbes, and has six Independent Financial Advisers.

Mike has been married to Sandra for 23 years, and they have three teenagers: Rebecca, Michael & Jonathan. Mike & Sandra have been actively involved in charity work for over two decades, including advising on and arranging tax-efficient donations. Mike loves gardening, classical music, good food and drink, and has a degree in Theology and Intellectual History.
