Stuart is Cheltenham Branch Director for Jelf Private Clients. The business has Chartered Status with the Chartered Insurance Institute and offers a wide range of services from financial planning through to general insurance.

Stuart has been a practicing Independent Financial Adviser for the last 15 years and for most of this time has specialised in advising those approaching retirement and individuals who are already retired. Testimony to his years of experience and practical application of his investment and estate planning knowledge and skills Stuart has won Money Management’s “Investment Planner of the Year” and “Portfolio Planner of the Year” awards.

Over the years, Stuart has developed some excellent working relationships with other professionals such as solicitors and accountants experienced in the needs of the retired and elderly. Together with these he has worked with many families to put plans together that have given both peace of mind and helped protect and preserve assets for future generations.

As no two clients are the same Stuart believes it is only reasonable that his plans are tailored to provided solutions specific to the individuals concerned. As such they may include advice in respect on: suitable investments, reducing inheritance tax, paying for care fees, what to do with the family home, releasing capital form property and working within the care system as well as any other areas of finance in general. Stuart has the facility to call upon his many colleagues who have expertise in a range of additional fields to supplement his advice expertise if required.

When he is not working Stuart relaxes by walking has two Springer Spaniels and fly fishing. He is also the Chairman of a charity that provides open spaces for his local community.
