Based in Hertfordshire, Shears provides information, advice and practical support for older people and their families, and serves as a ‘one-stop shop’ bringing everything together under one roof. As such, Shears offers reassurance and a helping hand through the whole decision making process and makes the experience a simpler, quicker and more positive one.
Shears believes that individuals and/or their families are best placed to make those all important decisions. So whether people want everything organised or are just looking for advice, Shears will tailor their service accordingly, and do as much or as little as is required.
Services are divided into:
- Home Support - for people wanting to remain in their present home;
- Relocation Services - for people wanting to move house - e.g. downsizing, moving into sheltered accommodation or into a care home.
Shears offers a free initial consultation and prides itself on a service which is caring, confidential and independent.
