Phillipa trained as a solicitor with a Central London firm, qualifying in 1984. Since qualifying, she has worked in the private client field, dealing with wills, probate, tax planning , trusts and related matters. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has been on the Public Guardianship Office panel of solicitors.

She has worked in London, Guildford and in the South West. She and her family recently re-located and she now works with Rickerbys, in Cheltenham.

She is involved in all areas of private client work including some of the technical tax and estate planning issues that can arise. She has always taken a particular interest in legal issues affecting the elderly and vulnerable.”
