Rita Sen is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and has been advising the elderly in various matters continually since.

She acts as Enduring Power of Attorney for many clients and has worked closely with Ian Rudd, (Symponia member) in the potentially complex area of care fees planning since 1996, dealing with all aspects of legal advice from preparing and establishing an Enduring Power of Attorney, writing and/or revising their Wills to assisting with the sale of a property or implementation of a Trust. Rita is able to deal with the financial aspects of the client's management of their financial affairs in full liaison with their financial advisers, ensuring that inhertence tax planning matters and other aspects are fully taken into account. Rita has used care fees plans for clients for many years and firmly believes that many of them have fully benefitted from them.

Rita offers a holistic approach to all her clients, and her relationship with them is ongoing, which continues with the family over what can be several years. Sadly, death is inevitable for us all, and as you would imagine Rita handles probate and all the associated legal aspects with care and sensitivity.

Rita has given lectures to local doctors, accountants and IFAs regarding Enduring Powers of Attorney .
